Grounding Excercise.

Sit somewhere quiet, with your feet on the floor.
Start breathing in deeply through your nose and out through your mouth..

When your ready, imagine you are a tree standing strong and proud in the ground.

Bring awareness to your feet and how they feel firmly anchored to the ground.

Imagine you have roots extending from the bottom of your feet to reach the earth.

Visualise these roots as they push through the soil, spreading downward, and outward, as they anchor you to the earth.

With each exhale, push any extra or unwanted energy, down your body towards your feet. and out through your roots.

As you do this, feel any stress or tension leave your body, starting from your head, then your shoulders, chest, stomach, hips and then your legs.

Keep pushing until you feel all this energy has been released.

To replenish lost energy, now visualise your roots absorbing white energy from the soil, feel the light enter your feet, move up your legs and slowly fill your whole body.

Allow the energy of he earth to create a feeling of balance and well being, concentrate on this feeling for as long as you need to.
